I've seen it. I'm well aware that there is more to it than steroid use. However there are other sports and professions that demand it's athletes actors etc to be on the road for long periods of time. Admittedly, WWE has really gone downhill in the past 3 years in regards to the type of talent they elevate. In the late 90s for instance, top stars had to possess excellent work rate and mic skills in order to receive a push, but right now it's 90% look. |

Hi Brian, its good to see you back. It will be fun to read your sick and
twisted view on sports once again.
Though you may be right on the fact that teams like Pittsburgh who have been
benifited with 3 great pick years in a row and having easy choices in
Fleury,Malkin and Crosby respectively, the lottery is integral for teams to
build a more competitive team, allowing the NHL to be a better product on
the ice. If Anaheim got the first pick from this years draft with your way
of spinning a wheel, how many people other then you are going to think its
fair.
The Red wings won cups with out ever getting top picks, they did it through
free agency and trades, up until a few years ago St.Louis had 25 consecutive
years of making the playoffs and proved they can be competitive every year
with out ever getting the elusive number one pick (yes, I know they didnt
win a cup).
I would like to disagree 100% on this subject, but I can definetely meet you
half way, I would like to see a change in the system but not your way. If
you really want to spin a wheel then i suggest going on the Price is Right. |
