Chris Gibbs was born in June of 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. At a very young age he moved to Regina, and then on to Calgary since 1976. Chris continues to live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his wife Jennifer and his 2 children.
Growing up, the love for the Calgary Flames and the rivalry between Edmonton and Calgary kept Chris involved in hockey and sports in general. Those days saw the likes of Wayne Gretzky streaking down the wing, Steve Smith scoring on his own net, and Tim Hunter and Dave Semenko pumelling the living bejeevers out of each other.
After spending more than 5 years working at the Saddledome, Chris can say he has seen every Calgary Flames home game in 1989 when they won the Stanley Cup.
Chris started in the Broadcasting industry in 1992 and has continued his career on the technical side of the television industry since then. He has worked with 3 major television networks and is continuing to forward his career.
In 2002 Chris decided his hobby of web designing needed to take a move forward at which time he went back to school to study Graphics and Web Design. He has been designing websites as a side job while continuing to work in television.
In 2007, Chris met the Ultimate Armchair Sportsfan and became partners with Brian van Vliet. Brian's sports knowledge and writing skills is second to none.
